In 1922, 29 year old German candy maker Hans Riegel introduced a revolutionary new product to candy fans in his native Bonn: the gummy bear which became a world-famous chewy sweet treat. Other well-known products in today's Haribo assortment includes these traditional British wine gummies with a slightly softer texture and milder taste than the German wine gummies. Made in Germany.
