I don't know what's in this, but boy, does that taste just scream "GERMANY"! It reminds me of all the great meals with friends I've had on my travels over the years. It's a little heavier than a regular vinegar, a little sweet, but mostly just spicey, great for making german salads or jsut to dump on top of some cold canned beans to brighten up a meal.
wonderful flavor for a tossed salad. i have been using it for years thanks to a german friend. i can no longer get it in my home town and was delighted to find it online. great customer service too!
