Made by Wicklein, Nuernberg's oldest lebkuchen bakery, established in 1615.
Elisen Lebkuchen are considered the "crown" of the lebkuchen baking arts. Centuries ago, lebkuchen did not contain any wheat flour not contain any flour, today up to 10% is permissible by official standards.
